Armbruster Capital Management is proud to announce that we have been selected as a recipient of the 2025 Elevating Women Award by the Rochester Business Journal. This prestigious recognition honors organizations across New York State that demonstrate meaningful and measurable progress in advancing women in the workplace.
Award recipients were chosen based on several criteria, including efforts to hire and promote women, the representation of women in leadership roles, advocacy within and beyond the organization, and initiatives designed to mentor and develop future generations of women professionals.
We are especially honored to be one of only two wealth management firms recognized this year, as it reflects our ongoing commitment to fostering a more inclusive and supportive financial services industry.
“The 2025 Elevating Women winners invest in, elevate, and support women leaders in Rochester and beyond. They demonstrate tangible, innovative efforts to assist women in taking on new opportunities in business and in the community,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, Managing Director of BridgeTower Media/Rochester Business Journal. “We are pleased to honor these organizations that show a strong commitment to women leaders in New York.”
Over the past year, Armbruster Capital has experienced significant growth. Our team expanded by 30%, and our assets under management increased from $742 million to $1 billion. This momentum has created new opportunities for our team to grow professionally, embrace new challenges, and welcome talented individuals into our organization.
“It’s no secret that women are underrepresented in the financial advisory industry,” said Chris Cebula, President of Armbruster Capital. In fact, Barron’s estimates that only 20% of financial advisors are women. “That’s why we’re especially proud that over 30% of our team is female, and even prouder that women make up 40% of our leadership.”
This year’s honorees will be featured in a special section of the RBJ on October 3, available both in print and online.
We proudly congratulate all of this year’s award recipients and feel honored to stand alongside such inspiring organizations.
Disclosure: Honorees were judged on their documented hiring and promotion of women, as well as the leadership positions held by women, in addition to the criteria mentioned above. The winners were selected by the RBJ’s leadership team. No compensation has been provided, directly or indirectly, by Armbruster Capital in connection with the award.
