Armbruster Capital Management is proud to share that our President, Chris Cebula, CPA, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Farm Credit East, a financial cooperative serving agriculture, commercial fishing, and forest products businesses across the Northeast. This appointment recognizes Chris’ deep expertise in financial services, leadership, and commitment to strengthening communities.
A part of the Farm Credit System, Farm Credit East is the largest specialized lender and financial services provider committed to Northeast agriculture. It also offers scholarships and grants to support farmers, businesses, and rural communities. The organization recently held its board reorganization meeting, where Chris was selected to join the 15-member board as an outside director.
“I’m truly honored to join the Farm Credit East Board of Directors and contribute to an organization that plays a vital role in supporting agriculture and rural communities. This opportunity is especially meaningful to me as someone who has spent my career in financial services and enjoys hobby farming. It’s a chance to bring together my professional expertise and personal interests in agriculture,” said Chris.
“I look forward to learning from my fellow board members and working to support the businesses that keep our region thriving.”
Chris has an extensive background in investment advisory services. Prior to his current role as President of Armbruster Capital, he provided assurance services with EFP Rotenberg, LLP, working with publicly traded companies, investment advisory firms, broker-dealers, healthcare facilities, and trusts and estates.
As President of Armbruster Capital, Chris oversees investment advisory services, financial planning, regulatory compliance, and operational management. His expertise spans human resources, compliance oversight, technology infrastructure, and market research. His leadership has earned industry-wide recognition, ranking 39th on AdvisorHub’s list of the Top 50 registered investment advisors managing assets under $1 billion in 2022.
“Chris’ expertise, dedication, and integrity make him an exceptional leader, and this appointment is a well-earned honor. His ability to navigate financial complexities has been invaluable to our firm. I have no doubt that he will bring the same level of excellence to the Farm Credit East board and make a meaningful impact in Northeast agriculture,” said Mark Armbruster, CEO of Armbruster Capital.
Chris’ commitment extends beyond his professional work. He has held leadership roles with several nonprofit organizations, including Empowering People’s Independence (formerly Epilepsy-Pralid Inc.), Financial Executives International (FEI Rochester), Causewave Community Partners, and BOA Editions. He is also a devoted husband and father to two children and enjoys working on his farm in Honeoye Falls.
