We measure success not only in financial returns but in the strength of our community. Members of our team serve on national and local nonprofit boards, volunteer their time in a variety of ways, and mentor future leaders.
For more than 20 years, our CEO Mark Armbruster has given his time and financial expertise to nearly a dozen nonprofit organizations. One that holds a special place in his heart is Empowering People’s Independence (EPI). When his son, Amer, was diagnosed with epilepsy in 2019, Mark and his family took action, helping Amer create and organize Seize the Day: Amer’s Epilepsy Trail Run. The annual race raises crucial funds for EPI’s programs, helping thousands of people across Upstate New York who live with epilepsy and seizure disorders. Not only does the Armbruster family organize the race, but the entire firm gets involved and participates with our friends and families.
Our President, Chris Cebula, serves on the Board of Directors of Farm Credit East, a financial cooperative serving agriculture, commercial fishing, and forest products businesses across the Northeast. And our leadership and advisors are active volunteers in the communities in which we live.
