Meet Our Team

Mark Armbruster, CFA

CEO

Mark began his investment career in 1996, working in equity research on Wall Street, following the aerospace and defense industries at Smith Barney. Subsequently, Mark worked in the equity strategy group for Salomon Smith Barney’s Chief Equity Strategist.

In early 2000, Mark moved back to Rochester, NY to help start up Alesco Advisors, where he was Chief Investment Officer.  During Mark’s tenure, the company grew to manage and oversee a portfolio of $1 billion for institutional and individual clients.

Mark is a graduate of the University of Rochester and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Designation.

Mark has been an entrepreneur, primarily focused on the financial services industry since 2000.  He has started, acquired, or invested in a number of private companies.  Mark has served on several non-profit and for-profit corporate boards.  Mark has also consulted on and provided expert testimony for investment-related legal disputes.

Mark has been quoted on investment matters in the Wall Street Journal, Investor’s Business Daily, and others.  He has given numerous talks on exchange-traded funds, alternative investments, and other financial topics to groups of professional investors and students around the country.

Mark and his family live on a small, hobby farm where they raise chickens and honey bees.

Christopher M. Cebula, CPA

President

Chris previously worked with EFP Rotenberg, LLP, providing assurance services in a broad range of industries. His experience includes publicly-traded companies, investment advisory firms, broker/dealers, healthcare facilities, and trusts and estates.

Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY Geneseo, where he majored in accounting. As a native of Rochester, Chris takes pride in the local community and is in constant search of ways to promote and develop business in the region. He has also served as a director and officer for several non-profit organizations, such as Epilepsy-Pralid, Causewave Community Partners (formerly Ad Council of Rochester), and BOA Editions.

Chris and his wife have two young children, so they spend most of their spare time trying to catch some extra sleep and cleaning up messes.

Evan Carr

Business Development Manager

Evan spent over a decade as a sales professional in the medical device industry. He transitioned to the investment industry in 2022 and has been focused on building client relationships.

Evan is a registered Investment Advisor Representative and a graduate of Nazareth College of Rochester where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree.

He has been active with volunteer activities and on not-for-profit boards.

Rudy Warren

Business Development and Client Service

Rudy has extensive experience running closely held businesses over several decades.  He began his career with positions at International Harvester Company and Ryder Systems.  He was subsequently President of RTR Transportation Corp., Rosco Manufacturing Company, Rochester Binding & Finishing Inc., and Layerone Media LLC.  Most recently he was Chief Operating Officer at D4 LLC.

Rudy is a graduate of Boston University and is an active participant in the community.  He is a past board member and board chair at ABVI-Goodwill Industries, where he successfully co-chaired a multi-million-dollar capital campaign.  Rudy has also served on the board of the YMCA of Greater Rochester and Quad A for Kids. He served as a Trustee of the Printing Industry Association Workers Compensation Trust, a member of the City of Rochester Empire Zone Administrative Board, and a member of the Greater Rochester United Way Investment Performance Review Committee.

Rudy and his wife have three grown boys.  He spends his free time skiing, fly fishing, and traveling.

Craig Julien, CRISC, CDPSE

Chief Technology Officer

Craig is responsible for firm operations and the long-term technology vision for Armbruster Capital Management.  This includes using technology to better educate and inform our clients, as well as safeguarding critical information.  Craig has over 25 years of experience delivering technology solutions and value-added services to businesses around the country, from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises.  He holds the CRISC & CDPSE certifications from the Information Systems and Controls Association.  He is an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Technology and Engineering Management Society, the FBI’s Infragard partnership, the International Association of Privacy Professionals, and the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists. Craig lives in Henrietta with his wife Carol, their young daughter, and two dogs.

Craig Julien

Tarryn Rozen

Director of Operations and Chief Compliance Officer

Tarryn grew up in South Africa, but moved to the United States after college. She is a graduate of the University of KwaZulu Natal, in Pietermaritzberg, South Africa. Tarryn earned a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree, majoring in psychology and law. She furthered her studies with an Honors degree in clinical psychology.

Upon arriving in the U.S., Tarryn lived in Berkeley, California, where she worked for a private equity firm. Subsequently, Tarryn spent ten years running a summer camp and teaching drama. After joining Armbruster Capital Management, Tarryn became a registered Investment Advisor Representative.

Tarryn volunteers for the Pittsford District PTA and has held numerous positions, including Building Chair and District VP of Communications and Publications. Tarryn also serves as the Board Treasurer and volunteer Operations Advisor to the director of Camp Susquehannock, Inc.

Tarryn, her husband, and two children love to travel and keep track of all the states and countries they have visited.

Adam Edelstein, CFA

Analyst and Portfolio Manager

Adam was born in Israel and grew up in the U.K.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Leeds, U.K. where he majored in Mathematics.  He also earned a Master of Arts from The University of Chester, U.K. where he studied Entrepreneurial Management. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Adam previously worked for Citi Private Bank in New York and KPMG in the U.K.

Adam and his wife have recently made Brighton, NY their new home. They love to take long walks and hikes together exploring the Finger Lakes region. He is an avid Manchester United fan and tries to watch as much as he can. He is also a keen cricketer and is active in his local synagogue.

Luca Zambito, CFA

Analyst and Portfolio Manager

Luca graduated from Canisius College in 2020, where he majored in Finance and Economics. While at Canisius, Luca was a member of the school’s Golden Griffin Fund and CFA Institute Research Challenge Team. He previously worked as a Product Control Analyst for Citigroup in Buffalo and spent time as an intern at Landmark Wealth Management.  Luca has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Luca was raised in the town of Elba, NY. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends and is an avid sports fan.

Morgan Miller

Office Assistant

Morgan joined us from the banking industry, where she honed her customer service and communication skills. She runs our front office and will likely be the first person you speak to when visiting or calling in.

Morgan is a graduate of SUNY College at Brockport where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in communication studies and minoring in psychology.

Morgan was raised in Corfu, NY but moved to Rochester to further her career.

Morgan Miller

Nipa Armbruster

Marketing Director

Nipa spent most of her childhood in Hong Kong but moved to the United States to attend the University of California, at Berkeley.  After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, she relocated to New York to obtain her Associate in Applied Science in Fashion Design. Nipa worked as a Product Manager for a private label company where she analyzed the fashion market and supervised the design and production teams to create clothing for various retail stores.  Nipa also worked as a Product Manager at Club Monaco, in Toronto, before moving to Rochester in 2002 to focus on managing the Armbruster homestead. During this time, she obtained her black belt in martial arts and has been teaching karate to kids, including the three Armbruster children.

Since the inception of Armbruster Capital Management, Inc., Nipa has been involved in client gifts, website design, and newsletter editing.
